The Department of Civil Engineering's proposal for the comprehensive exam stipulates that only courses categorised as disciplines relevant to the specific profile will be considered. These courses will be grouped into five distinct profiles:
The weighting of each group will be determined by the total number of credits assigned to its constituent courses. The exam will comprise 30 questions in total, which will be distributed among the groups according to their respective weightings.
The exam format will consist of multiple-choice questions that require justification. Furthermore, students will be provided with weekly consultation hours, featuring one lecturer dedicated to each topic.
Students will receive a formal grade for the Final Comprehensive Exam, which will affect their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Consequently, the exam carries 5 ECTS credits.
